Hello my readers, today, we have a very informative article for people who intend to stay healthy
in order to be alive to carry out their divine purposes.
Just like the saying
goes, “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. Today, we are being taught that “spinach doesn’t just give you bulging muscles – it also gives you extra
brainpower, The brains of those who
ate leafy greens, such as spinach and kale, were found to age more slowly.”
I know that most of our children these
days do not like to eat greens. Parents are encouraged to teach their children
the health benefits of eating green.
For most and anything in life we need a young brain to actualise purpose
in it. With a young brain you can think smart and better!!!!
No matter how disgusted you used to be about spinach, now is the time to
start loving it!!!
Have a rethink and become a green/Spinach lover. Share this article with
your family and friends and help someone grow eleven (11) years younger today.
HAPPY READING……..

Popeye has long been trying to persuade us of its magical properties.
But, spinach
doesn’t just give you bulging muscles – it also gives you extra brainpower
apparently.
A 10-year study has found
that people who eat 1-2 portions of the green stuff a day had the minds of
people 11 years younger.
Researchers
from Rush University in Chicago, questioned 950 men and women about their diet.
The
volunteers, who had an average age of 81, then took part in a series of mental
tests over a period of 10 years.
The brains
of those who ate leafy greens, such as spinach and kale, were found to age more
slowly.
It is
believed to be the result of the high levels of vitamin K, folate (or
vitamin B9), and the natural colourings lutein and beta-carotene in the veg.
Researchers
concluded that eating more greens could help protect against the onset
of Alzheimer’s.
At
the Experimental Biology Conference in Boston this week, Lead
researcher Martha Clare Morris said: ‘Losing one’s memory or cognitive
abilities is one of the biggest fears for people as they get older.
‘Since
declining cognitive ability is central to Alzheimer’s disease and dementias,
increasing consumption of green leafy vegetables could offer a very simple,
affordable and non-invasive way of potentially protecting your brain from
Alzheimer’s disease and dementia,’ she added.
So listen to
mum and keep eating those greens kids.
