IT IS FINALLY IN THE AIR

It is finally in the air. the new Airlander 10 flight was finally flown today. I thought to let you 


know because this is an invention we knew would happen soon. Yes, it was someone's 

dream, someone's idea, someone's gift and someone's action.

A lot of us have dreams, ideas and know the seed of greatness inside of us but we never 

dare to use it. What are you waiting for? You are so gifted and talented that I and 

the next generation cannot wait to be using things invented or produced by you. It all begins 

with your idea followed by a daring.... Go for it!

The world’s largest aircraft took to the skies for a successful maiden voyage – its first since being revamped in the UK.
The 302ft-long (92-metre) Airlander 10 – part plane, part helicopter, part airship – loomed overhead at Cardington airfield in Bedfordshire as the sun started to set on Wednesday evening.
Photographers and plane spotters baked in the sun as they waited to see the aircraft, whose bulbous exterior has earned it the less-than-glamorous nickname ‘the flying bum’, take off.
Crowds clapped and cheered as the craft soared above them during its first outing from the First World War hangar where it was revealed in March after undergoing hundreds of changes by Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) over two years.
First developed for the US government as a long-endurance surveillance aircraft, the British firm launched a campaign to return the craft to the sky after it fell foul of defence cutbacks.

HAV chief executive officer Stephen McGlennan said the team had been waiting for low winds for the launch but added the airship could ‘operate very happily’ in 80 knots of wind.
He said: ‘Think of a big helicopter, a really giant helicopter. This can do the same thing that a helicopter can do – that’s to say, provide air transportation for people and goods without the need for a runway – but this thing can take more over longer distances, it’s cheaper and it’s greener.
‘It’s a great British innovation. It’s a combination of an aircraft that has parts of normal fixed wing air craft, it’s got helicopter, it’s got airship.’
The Airlander took off at approximately 7.40pm.
The Airlander performed one lap of the airfield before landing about half an hour later, with light fast fading and the moon visible in the sky.

It is about 50ft (15 metres) longer than the biggest passenger jets but its four engines appeared noticeably quieter than a plane or helicopter as it took to the skies.
Mr McGlennan, who is not a pilot but has practised flying the craft on a simulator, said it was ‘very simple’ to manoeuvre.
He said: ‘It’s a very stable, benign aircraft that responds very gently in flight, we expect it to be an unusually calm flight experience.’
People have been practising to fly it for at least five years, he added.
The Airlander 10, which uses helium to become airborne, can travel at a speed of 92mph.
Wednesday’s flight marks the beginning of 200 hours of test flights for the 143ft-wide (44-metre) and 85ft-high (26-metre) craft, which will be able to stay airborne for about five days during manned flights.

It is also hoped the Airlander 50 will eventually be developed, which would be able to transport 50 tonnes of freight.
Donna Seymour, 50, was one of the hundreds of spectators who waited patiently for hours ahead of the highly-anticipated take-off.
She said seeing it become airborne was ‘absolutely’ worth the wait.
Ms Seymour added: ‘It was beautiful. It’s just so unusual.’
‘I think it’s quite appropriate,’ she joked, when asked what she thought of the aircraft’s nickname.
She added that she would love to go on board in the future.

This Bike Will Transform the Lives of Billions

Using your seed of greatness is about solving an existing problem. There is the ability inside of you and me to change the world into a better place. I get inspired when I read about people who made a difference, who thought outside the box and created solutions to what seems like a forever problem.

I believe you will be as inspired as I am when you read today's article with me. For me, it is like I will always say; while some are either sleeping or waiting to consume what others have invented or produced, others are busy thinking of what they can do to transform the world or solve a problem.

I am of the opinion that when we look within, we will find that solution to the world's problem.

Who knew a bike could do more than just promote health and wellness? Manoj Bhargara did, and he seems to have a knack for generating long-lasting energy from seemingly simple sources. Bhagara is most well known for having amassed a fortune of over 4 billion US dollars from developing the 5 Hour Energy Shot and he is using that wealth (he has pledged over 90% if it, in fact!) to bring a different kind of energy into the homes of those that need it most. Perhaps inspired by the principle behind the energy shot, he has developed a bicycle that, from a mere hour of cycling, is capable of generating enough energy to power a house for an entire 24 hour period.
In a truly energy efficient manner, the bicycle requires one hour of steady cycling to put its simple engineering to task and it generates absolutely no pollution. The bike is built with a flywheel, similar to many stationary bikes. For those unfamiliar, the flywheel is a heavy, revolving when that is used to ‘increase a machine’s momentum and thereby provide greater stability or a of available power during interruptions in the delivery of power to the machine.’
Since the mechanism has the conservation of power built right into it, Manoj Bhargara hooked it up to a turbine generator that creates electricity as the user pedals the bike, which is stored in a battery. That battery will supply enough electricity to keep the home lit and basic appliances running for a full day.

From One Bike to Ten Thousand


The bike was developed at Stage 2 Innovation Lab, which he built in partnership with former Chrysler CEO, Tom LaSorda. The Lab is known as “the most well-funded playhouse for engineers that you could imagine” and is also the birthplace of a variety of other innovations aimed at tackling poverty, reducing the impact of climate change, and boosting access to potable water.[1] The bike can be made for around $100 USD. Bhargara recognizes that this is out of reach for many of the poorest people in need of it most, so he has committed to rolling out a pilot project in his native India, where he will issue 50 bikes to small villages in the province of Uttarakhard, where local labourers will manufacture them.
The design was purposefully simple, so “a bicycle repairman anywhere could fix it.”[2] While the innovation is a startlingly simple and effective response to the lack of electricity that plagues most of the developing world, it has been met with some criticism. Some purport that the device falls in a reactionary camp of development innovations, by keeping entire communities ‘off the grid’ rather than bringing more communities onto the grid. For this reason, many still question the ‘off the grid’ alternatives to energy access and may refuse it altogether as a steady source of power.
If the initiative proves to be as useful as he hopes, Bhargara will distribute 10,000 bicycles across the country next year. He envisions small villages sharing the bicycles; each family can procure a battery and can take turns cycling for an hour to power their home for the next day. He also doesn’t plan to entirely give them away. He is hoping spur local economic growth by having the bicycles manufactured locally and through incentivizing distributors with profits.

Billions in Change

 

Manoj Bhargara is part of an initiative called the Giving Pledge, which is led by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The initiative calls for the world’s wealthiest people to commit much of their fortunes to charitable development in areas such as poverty reduction, access to water, environmental conservation, climate change response and clean energy.
The bicycle, affectionately named the Free Electric, is only one of many innovations produced by the engineers at the Stage 2 Innovations Lab. Recently a documentary about this and the other health, water and energy innovations that are currently in research and development stages at the lab. The documentary is titled Billions in Change, and it features innovative techniques to make saltwater drinkable, to harness clean geothermal energy with graphene and eliminating our reliance on fossil fuels, and has even developed an auxiliary heart that pumps blood from the legs through to the core of the body.

ARE THERE ANY GREAT ACCIDENTS?

People want to be problem solvers; they want to be able to lift the burden off others shoulders. Are you like that or do you want to be a parasite that just wait to consume what others have worked hard for? 

Have you ever considered the fact that you can do something too or even do better than all the problem solvers that have gone ahead of you? The truth is that even before your conception, you have been destined to be great and to be a problem solver. Coming to terms with this truth and doing something with it, is the step that a lot of people fear to take before they die. Do not be like that; the world awaits your manifestation as a creature of God.

Being a problem solver does not mean that you have to invent something or produce something from the scratch, it could just mean that you are the one to improve on what some else has done previously. We have been using batteries before now, but no one has had or bought a battery that will last forever. In the world of glorious accidents this could well prove to be the greatest,
Scientists who were messing around with a gel have accidentally worked out a way to make batteries last forever.
The component – nanowires – doesn’t usually deal well with charging in a typical lithium battery and usually wear out after 7,000 cycles or so.The researchers at the University of California at Irvine realised that by coating a brittle component in batteries in a shell they can be recharged (or cycled) hundreds of thousands of times and not lose any power.
But with a manganese dioxide shell they lost no power despite being cycled more than 200,000 times in three months.
This could lead to laptop, phone and tablet batteries that last forever. It might also benefit commercial batteries in cars and spacecraft.

The person to thank for the breakthrough, is Mya Le Thai, a PHD student at the university.
Reginald Penner, chairman of UCI’s chemistry department, said she was ‘playing around’ when she coated the wires in the thin gel layer.
He told The Inquirer: ‘She discovered that just by using this gel she could cycle it hundreds of thousands of times without losing any capacity.

Mya said the coat helped the nanowire electrode hold its shape much better, therefore making it more relaible.
‘That was crazy, because these things typically die in dramatic fashion after 5,000 or 6,000 or 7,000 cycles at most.’
She added: ‘This research proves that a nanowire-based battery electrode can have a long lifetime and that we can make these kinds of batteries a reality.’

EVEN AN EIGHT YEAR OLD

Wow!!! How amazing it is when people, even children discover their hidden potential early. This child is certainly a genius, but praises go to the parents who have supported to see that the child starts on such part early in life.

This eight year old's  book will be an inspiration to other children who have what it takes to do as much or even better.

I get excited over artcles like this. Adults, youths and children all have a seed of greatness inside of them. The earlier you figure out yours and turn it into a solution for others need the better the world will become for us all.



Eight-year-old literary genius publishes first two books in trilogy


We reckon this eight-year-old is a shoe-in for the Man Booker Prize.
A child has successfully written and self-published a novel, entitled ‘The Fart That Killed Everyone’.
The imaginitively named, long-awaited sequel ‘The Fart That Killed Everyone 2’ was released soon afterwards.
We assume the two gripping thrillers, which were photographed and posted on Imgur, are the first in a trilogy.
Readers are now eagerly awaiting the third installment.
Literary critics say the books are ushering in a new era in publishing.

ANOTHER PROBLEM SOLVER EMERGES

Everyone is a problem solver; some people have not just realised it. When you look carefully around you, you will find out that there is a problem you have been created to solve. Just like this professor, you can be the next person to solve a world problem.

A lot of Mathematics Professors have come and gone since this mystery, but Andrew Wiles broke the record. You too can! The reward of being a problem solver can be monetary but far more that, there is a level of joy people derive when they bring solutions to others needs.

Professor solves 300-year-old math mystery, wins $700,000

An Oxford professor is now $700,000 richer for solving a 300-year-old math mystery, the Telegraph reports. In 1994, Andrew Wiles, 62, cracked Fermat's Last Theorem, which was put forth by 17th-century mathematician Pierre de Fermat.
Wiles will be traveling to Oslo, Norway, in May to collect the 2016 Abel Prize (including the honors and the cash) for his proof, which the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters calls an "epochal moment" in the mathematics field.
"Wiles is one of very few mathematicians—if not the only one—whose proof of a theorem has made international headline news," the academy said in an announcement of his numerical feat.
The puzzle had haunted Wiles for years. Times Higher Education notes he had been intrigued by it since he was a boy, leading to seven years of intense study at Princeton before he stumbled upon his eureka moment.
He found the proof he was looking for using a method involving three disparate fields that mean nothing to the layman but everything to braniacs trying to solve this problem: modular forms, elliptical curves, and Galois representations.
"Fermat's equation was my passion from an early age, and solving it gave me an overwhelming sense of fulfillment," he tells the Telegraph. (For the record, the theorem states that there are no whole number solutions to the equation xn + yn= zn when n is greater than 2.) Wiles says he hopes his work will serve as inspiration for up-and-coming numbers aces "to take up mathematics and to work on the many challenges of this beautiful and fascinating subject." (Prime numbers just got a little weirder.)

THIS IS THE NEW MOVE....

Amazing! some are seeking benefit, some are wasting away, some are affecting lives and yet some do not have a clue of what's next. People are having sleepless nights working hard to make the world a better place using their potential while they earn good money too.

I get inspired when I see that the world is moving at a speed that only those that are awake and have their hands on deck will catch up with the speed. That is why, I take it as a duty to keep you informed when I read articles such as this.

This is what world travelling will look like in the near feature. There is greatness inside every man. A moron did not design this, it was someones vision that was penned down. We all have potential to create, let contribute to the success of the next generation if Jesus tarries.

This incredible futuristic aircraft could be the way people travel to far-flung destinations in the year 2050.
With a radical design inside and out, the concept plane features a massive cabin with 1,000 seats, virtual reality headsets, live image projections on the walls instead of windows and spacious lounges intended to improve the passenger experience.
The huge curved plane is the brainchild of a team from Airport Parking & Hotels and Imperial College London, who set out to predict what the future of flight could realistically be like in 30 to 40 years.

Beverley Barden, head of marketing at Airport Parking & Hotels, said: ‘Air travel has long been considered an uncomfortable way to begin a holiday.
‘With these advances in passenger space, in-flight-entertainment, and extra room for bars and relaxation areas, this will finally be a thing of the past. 
‘Through working with Imperial College London, we have been able to create this groundbreaking model of what air travel will look like in 30 years or so. It’s very exciting to see what is already set to change in a relatively short time.’
