THE TIME IS SHORT

Have you ever consider the fact that we are sojourners on this earth? We will be going home some day but no one knows that day except our Creator. Like the people in the story below, the time will come when we will not see each other anymore. That is okay with me but my question as always is what legacy would you leave behind if today were to be your last day on planet earth?
When you get to your Creator, is He likely to say 'well done, faithful and good servant' or  will He say 'depart from me for I know you not'?
Read today's story and make up your mind what you want to do with the remaining part of your life. It is not too late.
My condolence goes to the families who lost their loved ones as result of this crash. However, for you my dear friends and readers, the sad event of the crash reminds me of three things: how short life is, how many times we all go out and come in safely and how many of us has sent our children on school trips and they returned safely.

Life is short and it could be anybody’s turn tomorrow. There is only one person that knows each of us and what we are made of. We need a relationship with that person so as to be constantly under the shadow of His wings; ‘OUR CREATOR’.

God, our Creator is constantly watching over us and as He does this, He keeps telling us to begin to run the race for which He has created us and some of us still pays deaf ears to this call, thinking that there is enough time. Are you in this category?

Wake up for time waits for no man. One major thing walking in purpose could do for us is that it gives us hope and make us have something to look forward to.

Please connect with your Creator today and discover who you really are. You are a life saver in your sphere of influence. Discover your purpose and do something with it.

A Germanwings passenger jet carrying at least 150 people crashed in a remote part of the French Alps today, with all on board feared killed.

The pilots sent out no distress call and had lost radio contact, France’s aviation authority said, deepening the mystery over the A320’s mid-flight crash following a steep descent lasting eight minutes as it travelled from Barcelona to Dusseldorf.

The plane crashed at an altitude of about 6,550ft, at Meolans-Revels, near the ski resort of Pra Loup. The site is 430 miles south-south-east of Paris.

The crash left officials and families across Europe in shock, with sobbing relatives at both airports being helped by airport workers and crisis counsellors.

German chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters in Berlin: ‘We still don’t know much beyond the bare information on the flight, and there should be no speculation on the cause of the crash.’

Photos of crash site from the La Provence newspaper showed scattered black flecks across a mountain and several larger aeroplane body sections with windows, five in one chunk and four in another.

France’s prime minister Manuel Valls said a helicopter crew that landed briefly in the area saw no signs of life.

Germanwings said Flight 9525 carried 144 passengers – including two babies – and six crew members.

The plane left Barcelona Airport at 10.01am local time, then began descending again shortly after it reached its cruising height of 38,000ft, Germanwings CEO Thomas Winkelmann said.

The descent lasted eight minutes, he told reporters in Cologne.

Eric Heraud of the French Civil Aviation Authority said the plane lost radio contact at 10.30am, but ‘never declared a distress alert itself’.

He said the combination of a loss of radio contract and the plane’s quick descent prompted the controllers to declare a distress situation.

YOU BETTER THINK AGAIN

Wow! This world is really changing!!!. A grey area of law; fathers paying ex after years of divorce. As sad as it may seem, learn from this, if you are a father that is avoiding being a part of your child (ren)’s up bringing in any way or teenagers who just wants baby but are not ready to take care of the child.

Let us face facts here, how could a man bring a child into this world and for whatever reason neglect the child? Do you think this is a fair decision? I will say, Yes in a way; thanks to the Judges. With this new precedent, we may begin to have more children who have a greater relationship with their dads. Statistics shows that 70% or more of children in institutions are children raised by single mums (HOW SAD).

Perhaps as it is said, where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. So where fathers work to invest in they will also want to see that their money is rightly spent and in this case that their child(ren) become better individuals.

The role of man include amongst others to be a role model to their children, a man who cannot provide of his family is worst than an infidel. Fathers, please walk in purpose and support the raising of your child (ren) as they are a gift from God for you.

Mothers support the fathers of your child (ren) so that they can be better dads to them. Do not do things that will hinder the purpose of marriage. It is a union that should entered with the mind-set of oneness and not with a bad intention to divorce after a while so that you can make a claim.

Read with me and pray that God will enable marriages to be as it was from the beginning.

Former New Age traveller wins right to cash he made 10 years after they divorced

Richard Hartley-Parkinson for Metro.co.ukWednesday 11 Mar 2015 11:42 am

Kathleen Wyatt took her husband to court years after their divorce (Picture: PA)

It might be more than 20 years since they divorced, and he may have made his money more than a decade after they divorced, but this ex-wife has just won a a right to cash from her former husband.

Kathleen Wyatt fought against Dale Vince for a portion of his money all the way to the Supreme Court where today she won.

They met in their early 20s and lived as New Age travellers, marrying in 1981.

But a few years later in the mid-80s they separated before divorcing in 1992.

Mr Vince went on to become a successful businessman, launching a company called Ecotricity.

Ms Wyatt, 55, eventually launched a claim for ‘financial remedy’ in 2011 which went through the High Court, was blocked by three appeal judges and finally passed through the Supreme Court.

Ms Wyatt wanted £1.9million.

Dale Vince said he was not happy with today’s ruling (Picture: PA)

But that payout was deemed by justice Lord Wilson as ‘out of the question’. However he added that justices thought there was a ‘real prospect’ she would get a ‘comparatively modest award’.

Mr Vince said the decision was ‘mad’.

In a statement, he said: ‘I’m disappointed that the Supreme Court has decided not to bring this case to an end now, over 30 years since the relationship ended.

‘We both moved on and started families of our own. For my part the passing of time is extremely prejudicial, it’s been so long that there are no records, no court has kept anything, and it’s hard to defend yourself in such circumstances – indeed the delay itself has enabled the claim, because there is no paperwork in existence.

‘I feel that we all have a right to move on, and not be looking over our shoulders. This could signal open season for people who had brief relationships a quarter of a century ago… it’s mad in my opinion.’

Ms Wyatt said after the hearing: ‘It’s an important judgment.’

Ms Wyatt’s solicitor, Barbara Reeves, added: ‘Financial claims generated by marriage cannot be extinguished arbitrarily by guillotine.

‘Our client has had a very difficult time and we are very pleased.’

WHAT ARE YOU ADDICTED TO?

The word addiction is often used in relation to bad habits but I believe that there is a good side to addiction, when it is for promoting good things for the benefit of your nation and generation. Get addicted to transforming generations!

But being addicted to the wrong things is bad and has great consequences and the prize is costly. Our news for this write-up is one of the very bad effects of an addiction to the wrong thing.

Again, as my focus is always on what you can do to walk in your purpose and use your potential, why not learn from this story and begin to walk away from your bad habits.

Addiction can cost people their lives or end the life of their neighbour.

£45,000 and £300,000 will go a long way to solve the world’s problem; for example, if sent as relief to many under developed countries it will build a generation there. Even in the UK, it can help many lives. But when wasted on Bingo, it brings more problems to the world.

Beware and be addicted to saving lives. Read with me once more and move step further towards your good goals.

A woman has racked up debts of more than £45,000 after developing an addiction to online bingo.

Kelly Nield, 32, says she was tempted to try online bingo after seeing an advert for Foxy Bingo on The Jeremy Kyle Show while off sick from work.

But the mother-of-one is now £45,000 deep in debt after she developed an eight-hours-a-day habit that burned through her savings and maxed out five credit cards.

‘You get to the point where you can’t see a way out,’ she said.

‘I just wanted to find a way to make myself stop and when my thoughts turned dark I knew I had to get help.

MsNield said she started online bingo after seeing an advert on The Jeremy Kyle Show (Picture: YouTube)

‘I would gamble from the second my family left in the morning until they came home at night. My partner and I were saving £500 a month and I would just access the accounts and spend what I could.’

MsNield, of Merseyside, finally told her partner Ian Nairn about her addiction and went to see a doctor.

But she has now attacked laws that allow gambling to be advertised during the daytime.

‘Drugs, alcohol and sex would not be advertised before the watershed but why is it OK to advertise gambling?’ she said.

DRINK IS NOT MEANT FOR KINGS

Drinking can make a king act as a fool and irresponsibly. If you want to be a king in your own world, abstain from drinking! Some say drink in moderation but most people do not know their limit and the sad thing about drinking is that it has a side effect on ones health and the disgraceful thing about it is that when you get drunk, you are likely to behave worst than this teenager in the story below.

For your dreams to come true, do not involve yourself in acts that are irresponsible or that can wreck your life or that of your neighbour.

This is the time to work on yourself so that you would not end up in regrets. There is a beautiful part to life when people begin to live right and engage in doing the right things (affecting other lives positively).

You are created to be like God, God is our heavenly father and He does the right things. Begin to act like your father today and live responsibly so that your neighbours can be affected positively.

Read the story and imagine how different it would have been for the two lives had this teenager not got drunk before driving.

Teenage driver drunk on rosé left man unable to walk

Harry Readhead for Metro.co.ukMonday 16 Mar 2015 2:33 pm

Lauren Blanning’s ‘stupidity’ wrecked Stephen Isaacs’ life, Judge Michael Roach said (Picture: SWNS)

A judge lamented the ‘stupidity’ of a young motorist who left a man without the use of his legs after downing a bottle of rosé and getting behind the wheel of her car.

Lauren Blanning, 19, was almost twice the legal drink-drive limit when she drove a group of friends home from a party, pulling into the path of motorcyclist Stephen Isaacs, 49, who was thrown more than 60 feet down the road by the impact.

And Judge Michael Roach, sentencing, said Blanning’s ‘stupidity’ had wrecked the life of Mr Isaacs, who has been in hospital for almost a year with severe pelvic injuries.

‘You are now before the court for something which has devastated somebody else’s life,’ said Judge Roach.

‘Nothing I can say can restore his good health.

‘Nothing I can say can restore anything he and others had to suffer through your stupidity.’

Mr Isaacs suffered severe pelvic fractures after being launched 60 feet by the impact

Mr Isaacs, who attended the hearing in his battery-powered wheelchair, called the sentence ‘totally unsubstantial’ and said Blanning ‘put the tears on on cue’.

‘I think they are crocodile tears,’ he said.

‘I think it’s more about feeling sorry for herself.’

The court heard how Blanning, who only passed her test three months before the incident, had driven back from the Greyhound Pub in Fishponds, Bristol, at around 1am on 31 May 2014.

After the crash, Blanning called her mother in ‘desperation, panic and shock’.

Mr Isaacs was brought back to life on the operating table by ‘aggressive resuscitation’ and lost so much blood he received 60 pints in 48 hours.

FIGHT FOR THE POSITIVE THINGS YOU BELIEVE IN

This is the most discouraging and heart breaking news for a parent and a generation. Teenagers on suicide missions? What a set of people without foresight!!! It is very sad that after the investment by their parents and the government of this nation (BENEFITS) in raising them to teenage, all they did was to wake up and embark on a suicide mission. For me it is suicide attempt!!! They are young and could do more productive things with their lives.

This act is definitely a wrong believe because no one has a right to endanger themselves or seek to take another’s life. However, the lesson we learn from this story is that, these three young stars and many more that have done things like this are fighting for what they believe in.

How many of us know who we really are and take the time and effort to fight for what we believe in? This is what is called discovering and pursuing your purpose.

Do you know your purpose? If we do not know the purpose of a thing, we definitely misuse it, thus a lot of people are leaving a life not worth it because they do not know the purpose for which they were created. Are you one of them?

Read this story,  ponder on it, mediate on it and take a bold step towards doing the positive things you have been created to do. I am grateful that these boys were caught and helped not to end their lives. Well done to those that caught them!!!

Three British teenagers travelling to join Isis caught by Turkish police

Three British teenagers have been arrested in Turkey on their way to join Isis, Turkish officials have said.

The three teenage boys have not been named, but were reportedly detained by Turkish police in Istanbul on Friday while planning to cross the border into Syria.

While the youngsters haven’t been identified, officials say they are all aged between 17 and 19.

Turkish worked with their British counterparts to deport the teenagers back to the UK, where they are now being held in a police station under suspicion of terrorism offences..

A Scotland Yard spokesperson said: ‘Officers alerted the Turkish authorities who were able to intercept all three males, preventing travel to Syria.’

They added that their families were kept informed during the incident.

The news comes one month after the three British schoolgirls managed to reach Syria and are now believed to have linked up with members of the Islamic State.

WAIT! WAIT!! WAIT!!!

I know that I like to eat, talk, walk, sleep, and dream purpose but I am afraid what this has got to do with purpose.

Please, please, it is said that a good man will live an inheritance for his children not his pet! When Adam was asked to name the creatures, he gave them different names; he saw the animal below and called it MONKEY.

Until Eve was created, Adam never named, non saw any of the animals to be his like…. When Eve was formed, he said; now, this is the bone of my bone and the flesh of my flesh and she was called woman because she was taken from him.

Except for those who still believe that they originated from monkeys or anywhere else, I will definitely be worried for people who choose to call their pets their children. Like begets like, a man cannot give birth to a monkey unless we are in another planet and not planet earth.

Get your priorities right and reason like your maker. He said go into the world and multiply. It will be a misuse of purpose to come into the world and start calling pets our children, it is like using a refrigerator to store clothes, is that its use? NO!!!!

It is okay to donate to preserve the life of animals where we can but to bequeath our wealth to them is definitely something out of the ordinary. If you do not have children or you choose not to have one, there are loads of less privilege children out there, help to preserve their lives.

Read with me and help to transform this generation not transform animals. Animals were never created in the image and likeness of God, Man was! Also, animals have different make up and purpose from man. They less intelligent in their make up!!! We need man to subdue the earth, we are not in animal kingdom, let’s not try and create one in replacement of man.

Couple will leave all their money to their pet monkey

Chunmun (not pictured) is responsible for all the couple’s wealth and success, they claim (Picture: Getty Images)
A couple have said that they will leave all their money to their pet monkey when they die – because they claim they owe all their wealth and success to the primate.
Brajesh and Shabista Srivastava, from Uttar Pradesh in India, have set up a trust for long-tailed macaque Chunmun, who they adopted after it was orphaned.
And the couple have said they don’t mind if people ‘say they are mad’ because the 10-year-old ‘is a son’.
‘People might say we are mad, they might even ridicule us,’ Mrs Srivastava, 45, told Sky News.
‘But we know how valuable Chunmun is to us. We are childless and Chunmun is a son to me.
‘We want to ensure that even when we are not alive, Chunmun’s life is not affected and he continues to live the way he does.’
The couple said they were disinherited by their families when they married because they are Hindu and Muslim.
But despite starting off poor, they have become successful since 2005 – the year Chunmun came into their lives.
Chunmun, who may live until he is 40, has an air-conditioned room and mate called Bitti. He enjoys Chinese food and tea.

PRESERVE YOUR LIFE

Are you over working yourself that you do not get enough time to rest? Rest is needed for our body, we have an example from the Creator of all mankind and the universe; and God rested on the seventh day. (Genesis 2:2)

If you are like me, I like to emulate those who have done a thing and attained success from it and in this case, I always like to emulate 'My Father', who deemed it fit and good to rest after creating the Universe. Perhaps you are not like me and think 'let me work while I am still able so that I can have money when I am old', this research has helped to tell us what a 45 minute nap could do for you.

Be aware and take care of your body, do not damage your body because the Spirit of man cannot function without a body. If you damage your body and die, you are no longer fit and legal to live on earth, because you are not a man anymore but a ghost that lives in the spirit realm.

The choice is yours. If you know like I do that you are here on earth for a purpose, you will do what it takes to take care of your body so that you can be legal, living on the earth to carry out the task you have been given.

Think about it, life has no duplicate, take a nap for 45 minutes a day and get your memory sharper five- fold. You definitely need a good memory to function in excellence. What do you think?

A 45-minute power nap can improve your memory five-fold, study finds

A nap of just 45 minutes can improve memory five-fold, the study found (Picture: Getty Images)

A short power nap lasting 45 minutes to an hour can improve your memory five-fold, a study has found.
Graduate student Sara Studte taught 90 words and 120 unrelated word pairs to a group of 41 students, half of whom were allowed to take a nap afterwards.
And the results which was published in the journal of Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, showed that those who napped had far superior information recall that than those who hadn’t.
‘A short nap at the office or in school is enough to significantly improve learning success,’ said Professor Axel Mecklinger, who supervised the study.
‘Wherever people are in a learning environment, we should think seriously about the positive effects of sleep.
‘Even a short sleep lasting 45 to 60 minutes produces a five-fold improvement in information retrieval from memory.’
If only we knew this when we were caught falling asleep at school.
