COULD THIS BE A MISTAKE?

I just know that there is something unique and special about everybody and everyone. You are special, everyone around you is special. we all have a unique thing about us and we all have the ability to create and help our world.

I get really inspired and motivated when I see or read articles such as this. I just want to encourage you as you read this to look within, support your children and wards to do the same and be the best you have been born to be.

God bless you as you read with me and take an action.

Meet Teen Entrepreneur Toby Liew, Who's Invented Your Next Smartphone Purchase 'Magniband'

Posted: Updated:

Toby Liew is a 16-year-old from Gillingham, Kent, currently studying towards his A-levels. He's also the brains behind Magniband, a smartphone lens magnifier which looks set to take the consumer electronics world by storm.
Unlike other macro photography lenses, which can cost hundreds of pounds, Toby's product costs a fiver, and slips straight onto any smartphone.
"I've been working on this product for a few years," the young entrepreneur explains. "From my humble beginnings as a 12- year-old wanting to develop something cool that's not been done before."

Toby Liew with his innovative product
The teen tech entrepreneur made some time in between studying and running his business to give The Huffington Post UK the lowdown on his new invention.
So what gave you the idea?
I quite liked the macro area of smartphone photography, but there was nothing really accessible in terms of affordable smartphone lenses.
I couldn't pay stupid prices for existing lenses and I wanted something cheaper and simpler, as did my friends. Since the smartphone accessory market was, and still, is young, I went about creating a product which was fun, very simple in design and easy to use.
And did you face any challenges along the way?
Yes, I came up against many challenges in the design process, but I knew I could never start with a faultless, finished product. Though some of these design challenges could be frustrating, I'd welcome them, knowing they'd be crucial in developing my product.
Some of these challenges included faults with the lens, the glue securing the lens and making it compatible with all smartphones. These considerations saw me receiving and reviewing prototypes upon prototypes from a very efficient factory in China.
Another big challenge was securing watertight design protection for my product and branding, since it was a costly and time consuming process. However, now this has been done, it gives me even more confidence in the future of my product.

How did you get funding?
At the start, the only funding I had was my pocket money and some savings, but when this started to run out, I knew I'd need a lot more.
So I reached out to many options, my family, friends, and local councils for grants until a business man, connected through family, liked the product and my entrepreneurship. He invested in the product and me, as well as actively helping with the ongoings of the business.
What's been your proudest moment to date?
I've reached a lot of small landmarks with Magniband, including receiving my first prototype, completing my website and having the finished, packaged product in my hands for the first time.
Nonetheless, the proudest moment was when I started stocking my first shop in London, Magma Bookshop. To have the ability for Magniband to be picked up and bought in a shop was amazing and a little surreal at first.
However an important thing to note is that what's even better is realising what can come next through this opportunity, which, in this case, was stocking even more shops.
Also, seeing people using the product and putting their photos on Instagram was cool thing to see, and not only this, supplying the Danish Architecture Centre in Copenhagen was also great.

Did you ever think your idea would be this successful?
I wouldn't consider myself successful at the moment, however I have had it in my mind that I will be successful in something and realising that Magniband is gaining traction has made me think it may soon be possible.
Although, in terms of providing people with a fun and simple product, I guess I could say I've reached success.
What advice would you give other young entrepreneurs?
Apart from the never giving up attitude, I think a crucial tip would be to always look ahead of the next step.
For example, I started getting orders from a few shops quite regularly, but I knew I needed to think ahead to allow the business to grow, so for me, this was to attend the Spring Fair trade show at the National Exhibition Centre early next year. This next step will allow me meet new clients, discover new leads and find more opportunities for Magniband.
So what's next for the future?
The immediate next steps are to gain some more exposure for Magniband, design a few new products to expand the line and to exhibit at the trade show next year.
The long term aims are to go on to create new products, perhaps completely different to Magniband, get varied experience from a wide range of places to make better informed decisions in the business world, meet new people and eventually form new companies centred around simplicity and innovation which all relate back to one, large power house being run by my architect brother and I.

DID THIS WOW ANYONE ELSE?

Your child has got talent too!!! Parents just need to discover the talent in their children and help them to annex it. Every child will not win an award but all parents need to support their children in such a way that the best in them is brought out from an early age.

I hear you say "But Marina, what about those who started well and never ended well?" Well, I get you. But that is not a parent's prayer. A glorious ending is the aim of starting early. Proverbs 22:6..... Training your children in a way that when they are old, they will not depart from it.

Three-year-old sensation DJ Arch Junior crowned winner of South Africa’s Got Talent

He wowed South Africa’s Got Talent viewers when he first showed off his skills on the decks – and now three-year-old DJ Arch Junior has been crowned winner of the 2015 series.
The pint-sized performer took the title a month after his initial appearance on the show, which sent the audience wild, and won him a Golden Buzzer from panellist DJ Fresh.
Yet despite his victory, he still managed to give even Kanye West a run for his money in the coolness stakes.
Seriously. Just how laid-back is he? Not to mention super-cute:
Three-year-old DJ Arch Junior just won South Africa's Got Talent
DJ Arch already had a following in South Africa before appearing on the show – having been honing his craft since he was just a year old and DJing at kids’ parties before going on the show.
However his dad Glenn said afterwards that his son’s sensational victory – which comes complete with a prize of 500,000 rand (£23,000) – will change him.
‘He’s still young and there is still a lot that will happen as he grows and matures,’ he said.
For now, he’s still a kid and he’s just going to continue as he does, he goes to crèche and DJs because he loves it.’
Bless…

EVERY LITTLE HELPS!!!

Little acts like this shows that you feel for others too. The zeal to be great is not about you and your family alone, it is about your assignment. The need to help put a smile on others faces, the need to help move the hopeless from where they are to where they ought to be.

Reading this article, tears rolled down my cheek because, I could see a young girl, given more years will turn her society around for good. How about you? Are doing something to make your world a better place? Are you helping or teaching your children that this world is not all about you and your family's success alone?

we have been given different gifts and passion to make this earth habitable for all not some. Think through and act today.

Homeless man fights back tears as 4-year-old girl spends pocket money on food to ‘warm his belly on a cold day’

Remember that excitement you felt as a child, when you’d done all your chores and were rewarded with pocket money to spend at the local sweet shop?
Or maybe you’d save it for as long as you possibly could in order to buy the new toy that all of your friends had.
Whatever, it is unlikely you were planning something as altruistic as this little girl, who had more important things on her mind when it came to her pocket money.
It started when Mrs Rhoda Kirkpatrick, 29, from Aldershot, attended the Remembrance Day Parade at the Portsmouth Guildhall with her partner, who is a soldier, and their four-year-old daughter Lola.
In an exclusive interview with metro.co.uk, Mrs Kirkpatrick says: ‘On the way back through the town centre, going to the shops, my daughter spotted a man sat outside a nail bar and asked why he was sat there on the cold ground.’
Mrs Kirkpatrick explained to her daughter Lola that it was because he had no home to go to.

‘She has seen people pass down money to homeless people before and asked if she could do the same. Although proud of her intention, I said no only because (as I explained to Lola) sometimes they might use it for “naughty things” rather than food.’
Determined to help the man, Lola pointed to a nearby bakery and told her mother: ‘Well if I buy the food he can’t get the naughty things’.
So, Mrs Kirkpatrick took Lola to the bakery where she used her pocket money to buy a sausage roll for the man, telling her mother, ‘a warm one to warm his belly – because it’s rainy and cold today.’

After purchasing the sausage roll, Lola went a little shy. She handed him the sausage roll, and her mother explained why she was giving it to him.
Mrs Kirkpatrick says: ‘I saw the tears in his eyes, and as he repeatedly said thank you, I knew it was something he wouldn’t forget.’

Little Known Rule Allows Oxfordshire Homeowners To Switch Their Mortgage At A Lower Rate

Little Known Rule Allows Homeowners To Switch Their Mortgage At A Lower Rate
Last updated: May 1st, 2015

If you are like most people in Oxfordshire , you probably think the mortgage rate you have on your home is the best rate you can pay. We’re here to tell you that is not true.
In fact, many UK residents are surprised to learn that they can compare mortgage rates from different lenders, and save money on their mortgage by switching. And in some cases, save up to £250 a month.

Banks Are Competing, and UK Homeowners are the Winners

Most UK residents are gobsmacked when they learn how easy it is to go online and compare mortgage rates from various lenders. But today’s technology, along with the bank’s willingness to offer lower mortgage rates to better compete, have combined to create the perfect scenario for UK homeowners.
We do understand that years ago, comparing mortgage rates was uncommon. Only the very wealthy had the connections and ability to work with various lenders. But easing regulations have made an environment where various mortgage lenders can compete with each other, and they do not need a physical branch in your area to provide you with a cheaper mortgage.

But Not Every Bank is Happy About This

Your current mortgage bank probably doesn’t like the fact that you are now able to compare their mortgage rates with other banks. Why? Because once you find out the rates other banks offer, it’s likely you will switch your mortgage at a lower interest rate. Because, like we mentioned earlier, refinancing at a lower rates saves you money every month. Could you use (up to) an extra £250 every month? We thought you could.

How Do You Find These Rates?

There are a few free websites out there that will compare UK mortgage rates for consumers, and allow you to choose the best rate for you. Remortgage.Comparisons.org, one of the UK’s largest and most respected mortgage switch comparison shopping websites, is one of the few companies with a full complement of UK lenders on its network. It takes only 5 minutes, and the service is 100% free.
You owe it to yourself to pay the least amount of mortgage interest possible. Take 5 minutes and see how much you can save today.

WHEN THERE IS A WILL.......

Hmmmm!!! I get really excited and motivated when I find articles such as this. I am so inspired by them to walk in my purpose. I cannot be seen wasting any moment of my remaining life and days on earth. I am most excited because both young and old are aware of this fact and some are not doing badly at all.

I am so proud of these two and amazed that teenagers of their age may be changing the Mathematics world forever, Wow!!!. Let's ask ourselves a sincere question for a minute, What are you bringing to your generation that can bring about a transformation even for your neighbour?.

We all have what it takes to impact lives. we just need to identify our gifts and begin to use it. Many do jobs or pursue careers because of the money they will get but world changers pursue their calling because of the transformation and change that it will bring to their generation.

Join me as I celebrate this geniuses and look beyond what you are seeing now and look within to annex that seed of greatness, You have got it!!!!!

Teenagers’ maths theorem could pave way for interstellar travel

Two teenagers have created a mathematical theorem that could help pave the way for interstellar travel.
Xuming Liang and Ivan Zelich, both 17, corresponded through an online maths forum when they realised they were both working on the same problem.
It is now said the result of their collaboration may change the face of mathematics forever.
Ivan Zelich
Ivan Zelich is a polyglot, a state champion swimmer, a chess champion and a maths prodigy (Picture: Ivan Zelich)
Not bad for a couple of high schoolers.
Xuming, who is originally from Guangzhou in China but now lives in San Diego and Ivan, from Australia, told MailOnline they spoke though Google chat and Facebook and worked in ‘shifts’ – when one went to sleep, the other took over.
‘Since our time zones don’t concur, one of us tend to stay up really late to complement the other,’ Xuming said.
Xuming Liang
Xuming Liang was born in China but now lives in San Diego (Picture: Xuming Liang)
He was the only person I could find who I connected with mathematically,’ Zelich added.
‘I found out we were both working on the same problem at the same time but he was more geared towards one side of the geometry and I was more geared towards the algebraic and string theory side.’
Zelich said the main application of their calculations was ‘understanding the structures of the universe.
The theorem will contribute to our understanding of intergalactic travel because string theory predicts existence shortcuts in space, or so-called “wormholes” to cut through space.’
‘It also helps finding minimal possible math between certain planets based on their structure,’ he said.
Zelich said that school was restrictive and he didn’t have the time to chase the top grades due to the effort he was spending on his at-home research. He was offered a university scholarship aged 14 but turned it down. He speaks six languages, has completed his piano diploma and has represented Queensland in chess at the Nationals.
