THIS IS HOW WE ROLL.....

Hmmm!!! How true it is that your gift will announce you. The article is the most fascinating and inspiring one for this month. Is there any amongst us who is doing what they feel led to do? Trust me, no matter what it is, only time will tell, you are next on the line to be rewarded and announced. Do not give up!!!

When Freeman started his charity, he never knew that he will end up in space or at least, not so soon. That is why I know as you take out time to read and get inspired or challenged by my little inspirational post of some few people who have done great things using their gifts and potential, and then do something no one has ever done, you will not regret making a move.

The world is waiting for you. The seed of greatness exists inside of you. Tap into it, annex it and even the sky will not be your limit.

Are you worried that you do not know how to start? There are so many problems in your community and where you live. Like Freeman, create a solution to one of them that pricks you the most and as time goes on, you will find a better platform of doing more if you still feel you can do more.

Nigerian Doctor To Be The First Black African To Travel To Space [Pictured]

A Nigerian man, Freeman Osonuga has been shortlisted as one of the lucky human beings to travel to space.
5
Osonuga, a medicine and surgery graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, was selected through the Rising Star programme, which was launched at the One Young World Summit 2014 in Dublin. The programme invited both One Young World ambassadors and outstanding members of the public aged 18-30 to nominate themselves to take on the trip of a lifetime.

If selected for the programme one will not only embark on a once in a lifetime flight to space but will also be offered a three-year management contract. He will be the first black African to fly to space. Osonuga is a 2015 WIRED Innovation fellow. He will be speaking live on stage at the WIRED 2015 conference in October in London. In late 2014, at the peak of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, he worked as a volunteer worked with the African Union team of Ebola responders for 6 months in Sierra Leone.

YOU NEVER KNOW!!!!

When the word of our Lord says "the gift of a man makes room for him......", I believe this is part of what it means. When we embark on identifying our gifts and potentials and identifies it, it has a way of announcing us in the midst of the crowd and displaying what we are made of.

Dear readers, the seed of greatness in you is not what you do not have already or need to do much to discover. It is what you are made of, what you were born with, the reason for your being on this earth. Every gift in you is useful and needful. The devil knows this more than a lot of people hence he directs them to wasting their lives and engaging in acts that are below the reason for their existence.

I know you are not one of them that will allow the enemy to win this battle over your life, it does not matter where you are and who you are, peradventure you have not discovered your purpose, you still have a great chance of doing something today.

The same God who revealed the potentials of this lad, can show you yours. But if you already know yours but need motivation to use it, please be encouraged today, the whole universe is waiting for your manifestation as a creation of God.

Watch man win free tuition fees worth over £6k with this incredible basketball shot

The crowd waited with much-expectation as the nervous stranger was plucked from the audience. What happened next will go into the uni's history books

Tuition fees are one of the most costly things for young people.
But this man has won one semester of his education paid for by throwing one half court shot.

A student at Ball State university, in Indiana, got selected at random in Welcome Week to attempt the shot which would win him his tuition fees for one semester.
Man wins free tuition fees with this amazing shot
Lucky: he won help with his fees

He gave it a go, and got the shot in- and now will have his some of his student fees paid.
Ball State university charges just under $10,000 per semester, so around £6,000.
The clip shows the student getting the shot in and looking pretty excited about the fact he would be getting some financial help.

DID I NOT TELL YOU.......

I told you, some are sleeping, some are wasting their lives away, some do not even realise that the clock is ticking and that their end will soon come. Meanwhile,  some are thinking and their brains are making them good fortune while being a blessing to their generation too. How wonderful!!

With this amazing apartment, there will be preservation of space in the home and it will give room to build more homes because only small space is needed per an apartment.

Well, as you know by now, the building does not fascinate me as much as the thought that someone sat down to think of something new which can improve people's standard of living without thinking of making others poorer while he become richer.

Common on, dear friend, there is a lot inside of you that can bless your generation. pick up your pen and paper and begin to sketch down that thought that no one has imagined, if it seem too big, share it with someone you trust can support your dreams. Hey.... not the '99 percent naysayers'.

Trust me, if you can imagine it, you can do it....

Read with me and be inspired!!!

ARE THESE PEOPLE HUMAN-BEINGS?

Somebody is thinking, Somebody is acting.  The question that comes to my mind when I read articles of this nature is that I ask myself if these people are human-beings?

Dear friend, are you just watch? What have you thought of and what can you do to improve this generation and even the next? What are doing with the seed planted inside of you?

Read the below article with me and I can bet that you will be as astonished as I was, and, may probably be reminded that there is greatness inside of you. Have you started doing what you were created to do? So what next will you do? invent something? reach out to someone and be a blessing to them? promote a new course? be a role model?

Whichever you choose to do or are already doing must be what you are created to do and must be beneficial to the world not just you alone. This generation awaits you, rise up and act today.

A human brain has been ‘grown in a lab for the first time’

Someone grew a human brain
A brain
A human brain has been grown in a laboratory for the first time, scientists claim.
The miniature brain, which is the size of a small pencil eraser, will now be used to study neurological diseases, scientists at Ohio State University said.
It could also be used to test drugs for conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Skin cells from an adult human were used to grow the brain, which resembles that of a five-week-old foetus, and is believed to be the most complete model of a brain ever created in a laboratory.
Previous attempts have always ended in partial organs or ‘cerebral organoids’, Ohio State University’s Rene Anand  said while presenting the work to the Military Health System Research Symposium yesterday.

‘We have grown the entire brain from the get-go,’ said Anand, adding that their brain also has a spinal cord, signalling circuitry and a retina. ‘We don’t have any sensory stimuli entering the brain. This brain is not thinking in any way.’
The brain is said to have taken 12 weeks to make.
While the creation sounds incredible, Zameel Cader, a consultant neurologist at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, urged caution, saying it is impossible to judge the impact of the work yet.
‘When someone makes such an extraordinary claim as this, you have to be cautious until they are willing to reveal their data,’ he said.
Until we know more the brain will be used for military testing to understand the effect of post traumatic stress disorder and brain injuries.

HOW WONDERFUL!!!

Dear friend,

have you ever thought of the fact that you can bring joy to a suffering generation by just doing something exceptional to help through your many given potentials?

Thank God for those who deem it fit to identify and find their purpose early in life. These help to save lives and help others, for example looking at the article below, the 11 year old, Jose would have died if not for the surgeons responsible for this operation. Imagine, the people that are happy as a result of it (a whole family and friends of course).

It shows that everyone has a purpose in life and that when we walk in this purpose, we not only bless one person but many people. Have you put a smile on anyone's face this week? Are you working in purpose or are you frustrated in life?

If what you are doing is just to benefit you and your family alone, and, exploit others, there is hope for you,  please go back to your creator to ask for a clear vision and mission in life.

Enjoy reading this article with me and bless your neighbour with it.

Mexican schoolboy, 11, with huge foot-long tumour on his neck is saved by surgery in the US amid fears growth was starting to block his windpipe

  • Jose Serrano had a life-threatening growth partially blocking his windpipe
  • Travelled from home in Mexico to Albuquerque, New Mexico for treatment
  • Surgeons operated on 11-year-old for 16 hours removing part of the tumour
  • Scar tissue caused the 'lymphangioma' to shrink down following surgery

A Mexican schoolboy with a huge foot-long tumour on his neck has been saved after undergoing 16-hours of surgery in the US.
Jose Antonio Ramires Serrano, from Ciudad Juarez in Mexico, had a life-threatening growth that partially blocked his windpipe and put pressure on his heart and lungs.
But thanks to missionaries and US officials Jose travelled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for life saving treatment.

The growth, called a lymphangioma, was rough and scaly and formed painful cysts.
Jose was prevented from riding his bike, swimming, or running, in case he fell and began bleeding dangerously. He was also stared at in the street due to the size and weight of the growth.
But after missionaries from the First Baptist Church of Rio Ranch spotted him in the poverty-stricken city of Ciudad Juarez, Jose was brought to New Mexico on a medical visa, in the hope of finding a cure.

Doctors were hopeful injections of a new drug - Sildenafil, otherwise known as Viagra, - would reduce the growth because of the problems of operating on Jose while his airway was restricted.
But after 18 months of the unusual treatment - which has shown signs of success in younger children - doctors realised it was not helping.
And instead of getting better, Jose began to suffer from dangerous infections.

Doctors had been reluctant to operate on the lymphangioma, a mixed veinous and lymphatic growth, because of the blood vessels and risk of infection.
But despite the risk, surgeons decided it was time to operate to save Jose's life.
Jose said before the operation: 'I'm anxious and nervous because I've never had an operation in my life.'
His father Jose Snr. said: 'We have other children younger than Jose and we've had to make sacrifices. They understand that it's for their brother.
'They know that it will all turn out well. And now the time has come, we are happy because we are thinking ahead, of the future, thinking of what is good for him. For this reason I feel happy.'
His mother Cindi said: 'After the surgery I want to see him able to ride his bike, to play football, to play with his siblings, more than he has been able to so far.'
Despite an unexpected outcome, Jose has completely bounced back from the surgery - and the growth has shrunk

A team of 12 surgeons, led by Paediatric Surgeon Cynthia Reyes at the University of New Mexico Hospital, operated on young Jose for 16 hours.
But the procedure was fraught with complications and Jose's parents were worried after only a 30cm by 10cm portion was removed.
Dr Reyes said: 'Unfortunately we encountered a lot of bleeding and we almost replaced his whole blood line, and that's when we decided to stop.'
But despite the unexpected outcome, surprisingly, Jose has completely bounced back from the surgery - and the growth has shrunk.

He said: 'At first I was swollen and then overnight the mass had completely disappeared.
'I'm no longer carrying so much weight now I can lift my arm up a lot more. I'm so much happier.
'I feel a lot less worried than before. I feel in a lot less danger than before, even though the growth is still there.'
Doctors say the scar tissue caused the lymphangioma to shrink down in the months after the surgery.
Now Jose is just like any other boy - playing in the street and riding his bicycle. He has now recovered so well the whole family has been able to go back to their home in Mexico.
And he has high hopes for his future thanks to the team of American doctors.
He said: 'The doctors and pastors from the Church have helped us a lot, my family and me, and, they have really helped. We are thankful towards them.
'For the future I want to study, finish university, work, have a family, and then become a mechanic.'
Jose's story appears in the new series of Body Bizarre, on Thursday August 20, 9pm, on TLC

A millionaire property developer who used children's gravestones to decorate the historic mansion which inspired All Things Bright and Beautiful has been ordered to pay £300,000.
Kim Davies, 60, took tombstones from a derelict chapel and cemented them to the walls of Llanwenarth House in Abergavenny, South Wales, where Cecil Frances Alexander penned the famous hymn.
Newport Crown Court heard how planners were horrified when they saw the 'decorative stone plaques' had been used as part of a gaudy £1m makeover to the Grade II-listed home, turning it into a 'palace for an Iron Curtain dictator'.
One of the 150-year-old gravestones was even engraved with the names of three brothers and a sister who all died while under the age of four.
The wealthy businessman also used some of the graves as flagstones for a patio which he built at the £2.2m country mansion. It means children are now lying in unmarked graves at the disused Soar-y-Graig Non Conformist chapel in the village of Llechryd.
Davies, who owned the disused chapel at the time, has now been fined £60,000 and ordered to pay another £240,000 costs for breaking planning laws.
He changed his plea during the case and admitted five charges under the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
Davies's own costs in the last three years were estimated at more than £250,000. He has already sold his Aston Martin and a Lamborghini Spider to raise funds for his court costs.
Issuing the fine, Judge Williams said the work Davies had done to the seven-bedroom house was 'vandalism'.
He told him: 'You turned the house into something comparable to a hidden palace of an iron curtain dictator. A regency interior was stripped out and replaced in mock Tudor style.
'An architectural expert said it was the worst damage he had seen at a Grade II-listed building in 25 years. What you did was criminal.'
He added that Davies's motivation to buy and refurbish the property to his own tastes was purely financial. 'You played for high stakes and you lost,' he said.

The court had heard how planning officers at Brecon Beacons National Park only discovered the true extent of the bizarre makeover after seeing the property's exterior in a newspaper property advertisement.

Following an inspection in 2012, they found Davies had made significant alterations, including fitting a modern shiny mosaic double whirlpool bath.

The father-of-three also replaced 300-year-old carved stone windows with plastic ones, ripped out an Elizabethan staircase and damaged valuable architecture at the Georgian-style manor.
The court also heard how he fitted a modern kitchen, hung modern crystal chandeliers and put spotlights in the ceilings.
Davies bought the 16th century Elizabethan manor, which had been given listed building permission to its previous occupants, in 2007.
Newport Crown Court heard the property could only be renovated if it kept with the original look of the building.
But in August 2009, council officials received an anonymous phone call complaining about work at Llanwenarth House.
Prosecutor Nicholas Haggan said officials 'saw significant changes had taken place to its appearance and were still continuing'.
He said: 'Davies ignored repeated warnings to stop the work even after documents were served showing the work had exceeded the requirements of it renovation permission.'
Davies then advertised the sale of the property in September 2011, using pictures which showed examples of the illegal work.

A warrant was issued and officers finally gained access to inside the manor in July 2012.
Mr Haggan said: 'It was clear that major modifications had been made to both the property's interior and exterior.

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all;
Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colours, He made their tiny wings;
The rich man in his castle, The poor man at his gate, God made them high and lowly, And ordered their estate;
The purple headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset and the morning, That brightens up the sky;
The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one;
The tall trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play, The rushes by the water, We gather every day;
He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.

'Planners discovered headstones taken from the village of Rhymney in South Wales.
'One was the grave of David, four, Rose, three and Thomas who was just 11 months old when he died. These headstones were inserted into the walls of Llanwenarth House as decorative stone plaques.'
Conservation expert Mike Davies said the 'wholly inappropriate' damage done to the property was the worst he had ever seen to a building of such 'historical and architectural importance.'

The court heard Davies now wants to restore the property to its former glory which would cost a 'substantial amount'.
But the work may be left to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Cadw (The Castles of Wales) the agency which runs heritage sites and monuments in Wales.
Brecon Beacons National Park planning officials said they are furious that Davies desecrated both the mansion house and the graveyard.
A National Park insider said: 'It is quite macabre. Why would anyone want to live in a house where the walls are decorated with the carved names of children who have died?
'There were quite a few gravestones with children's names on them, they dated back to the 19th century, some of them were for babies.

'We don't know how he was able to simply dig up an old graveyard without as care in the world.
'But these gravestones should not have been to decorate the house where All Things Bright and Beautiful was written.'

PROLIFIC WRITER FAMOUS FOR HYMNS ACROSS THE WORLD

Cecil Frances Alexander wrote more than 400 poems, and several of them have become hymns which are famous across the world, including 'All Things Bright and Beautiful'.
The 'purple headed mountain' in one verse of the popular hymn supposedly refers to the nearby Sugar Loaf and Blorenge peaks while the 'river running by' is the River Usk, which flows close to the estate's boundary.
She also wrote the Christmas hymn 'Once in Royal David's City' and 'There is a Green Hill Far Away' which was published in 69 editions.
Alexander was born in Dublin and began writing verse in her childhood, being strongly influenced by Dr Walter Hook, Dean of Chichester.
Her subsequent religious work was strongly influenced by her contacts with the Oxford Movement and in particular with John Keble, who edited one of her anthologies.
Her husband, William Alexander, was the Bishop of Derry and Raphoe and later became the Archbishop of Armagh.
He was also the last Church of Ireland bishop to take up a seat in the House of Lords.
The writer died in 1895 and is buried in Londonderry.
One local man, who did not want to be named, said: 'I saw him taking trailer loads of gravestones from here to his mansion house.
'He owned the chapel at the time and just helped himself to the grave stones at the overgrown part of the churchyard.
'There are people still living around here who would be related to the people whose grave stones were carted off.
'My own grandparents are buried there - but I have been to check and their graves are still intact.'
Davies bought the house - described as an 'historical gem' - for £675,000 in 2008, before spending more than £1million on renovations. In 2012, the house, which is adorned in ivy, was listed for sale for £2.25m but was not sold.
The court heard how, when National Park planning officers called at the property, they found its unique Jacobean, Regency and Victorian architectural features had been ripped out and were in a uncovered trailer at the rear of the property.
Judge Daniel Williams was shown 'before and after' pictures of the mansion, which showed the interior walls of the house had been lined with 'Tudoresque panels' along with the old gravestones.
Llanwenarth House was built in the late 16th century and was first listed in 1956 because of its national importance.
Cecil Alexander - who also wrote Once in Royal David's City - was staying there in 1848 when she wrote the hymn, praising the natural world and God's role in creating it.
